Candidates are responsible for coordinating their own transportation to and from the office.

- Interact and build working relationships in a diverse office of professionals and provide valuable contribution to real-world environmental projects, including a variety of environmental compliance, investigation, and/or remediation projects.
- Fieldwork such as soil, surface water, and groundwater sampling, air monitoring, stormwater inspections, environmental and geotechnical drilling and contractor oversight, aquifer testing, geophysical investigations, and remediation system operation & maintenance.
- Chemical data and contaminant fate & transport evaluation.
- Groundwater and soil remedy evaluation, cost estimation, and implementation.
- Aquifer testing and hydrogeologic data analyses.
- Groundwater modeling and 3D data visualization.
- Environmental due diligence, regulatory compliance services, and permitting.
- Data input and analysis, including preparing maps, tables, and figures.
- Preparation of technical reports, letters, memoranda, plans, specifications, and proposals.
- Training: This position requires OSHA health and safety (HAZWOPER), first aid, and CPR training and medical monitoring, paid for by the firm. We also offer professional development opportunities including in-house seminars, webinars, and mentoring, that allow our professionals to build the technical and business skills necessary to become successful consultants.
- Travel to project sites as needed with potential for overnight, company-paid travel.
- Work related travel is reimbursed.

- Bachelor's degree in geology, hydrogeology, environmental science, environmental engineering, chemical engineering, or related field. (required)
- Advanced degree. (preferred)
- Prior research experience in geology, hydrogeology, contaminate fate and transport, remediation, environmental engineering or related experience. (preferred)
- Prior internship experience in environmental consulting. (preferred)
- Experience with ArcGIS Pro, Microsoft Access, AutoCAD, Modflow, and/or EVS. (preferred)
- Outstanding academic credentials and exceptional interpersonal, technical writing, oral and written communication and problem-solving skills. (required)
- Local to Pittsburgh, PA area. (required)
- Regular field work and overnight travel. (required – up to 60% when necessary)
- Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)
- Valid U.S. driver's license and satisfactory driving record for business travel. (required)
